Tiny are you mad at me?

Neutered Tiny

We had Tiny neutered on Tuesday. When I called the vet to set up his appointment, I asked how long it would take for him to recover from the surgery... the lady told me 24 hours, so I thought "GREAT!" That's easy enough...

Well we took him in and the surgery was quick and I got to come back later in the day to pick him up and they informed me that he needed to stay calm and not jump and play for about 2 weeks... "WHAT" you expect me to not let my crazy pug play for 2 weeks... What happened to 24 hours!?
To say the least he has been so difficult in the last 3 days, a nightmare of sorts. He hates wearing the cone on his head and is doing his best to try and destroy it. He wakes up anytime between 3:30 and 5 in the morning and is ready to go. I however am not.

I realized this week that my morning sickness is about 10x worse when something stressful is going on and I am not sleeping well. It was bad the week Dan had the flu and its been bad this week with Tiny. I am thankful for everyday that passes since his surgery and am ready for the next week to go by.

20 Weeks

So happy to be at the half way point! Its getting really hard to get out of low chairs and couches and cars. As of my last OB visit on Thursday I am up 4 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. I lost weight during my first trimester so I feel like I am up a lot more than 4 but that's what they count.

I still am experiencing morning sickness but I have to remind myself it is better than it was a month ago and a month ago was better than the month before! I can't believe we are already at the start of November! I have a lot of things I need to get done and out of the way quick!

2 years since we got engaged

I cannot believe its been 2 years since we got engaged!? Dan is an amazing husband and I already know he will be a wonderful father! I am so thankful for all the experiences we have gone through together and that we were able to get sealed in June and will now be sealed as a family forever! Means so much to me that I will always have him and our children!October 2007

Still a girl :)

If you know me, you know I worry and have nightmares about a million things. My mom told the Ultrasound tech about one of my nightmares and I guess the thing I was dreaming about actually has a medical name!? but she doesn't have it, which is a good thing. I was happy the 20 week ultrasound went well!
This week I was also concerned that she wasn't actually a girl and they just didn't see her boy parts last time. If they had told me she was a boy today that would have been fine but she is still a girl. Most importantly she is healthy and measuring great! They gave me some really really short snip its of her. I wish they were longer than 2 seconds a piece but I will take whatever I can get right now!
The first one, I think she is shaking her booty but it also looks like she is running up my insides..... second one she is taking a gulp or doing something, but she is moving around in there!

Happy 6 Month Birthday to Tiny

18 1/2 pounds and happy all the time! I cannot believe he has tripled in weight since we got him 4 months ago! Go Buddy!
I had to add Tiny and I's most recent picture! 18 1/2 pounds of pug is getting harder to pick up now that I have a much larger belly!

Ready for a new week!

Looks like Dan is feeling a lot better today! He came out of his man cave for the first time since Wednesday and I am hoping that I don't get sick, but I think it will be okay. He is excited that he gets to come back and sleep in our bed tonight... Twin beds just aren't made for 6'5" men!

I am ready to start some more projects this week and really hope I can get some things done that I have been putting off... I always feel a renewed sense of goal setting around the weekend because I think of all the things I can do. Most of the time by the end of the week hardly any of them are done. Here's hoping for a productive week!

Also hoping that by some miracle my computer is not totally thrashed and that it may be fixable with not too much damage done. It is extremely dead right now however :( We already lost our nice laptop to death, I don't think I can handle losing my desktop...

Sick Dan

Having Dan sick has been really hard and scary. He went to the Doctor and they said that seeing as he has all the flu symptoms, doesn't matter if its seasonal or H1N1, we need to act as if worse case scenario since I am pregnant and either Flu could be really bad for me.

I am not supposed to be taking care of him much and he is just locked (well kinda) in our 2nd bedroom, sleeping on a twin bed. I would have given up our bedroom but I guess the room with the TV and Xbox was more exciting to a sick man.

His fever looks like it has broken and hopefully he is getting better. Last night he looked so horrible, so I am praying we are near the end of this and that I don't get sick. This has been so hard on me cause I can't be around him much and I worry about him getting better and myself and our baby being okay.

I am ready to fast forward to November now.

It's A Girl! I cannot believe it. I have been calling her a he this entire time! We are so happy and I am just in love!Her profile!She is going to be a scary skeleton for Halloween!

Finished what I started 12 years ago for my cousin!

I love Crocheting! I started when I was 11, be it I was very bad, I have enjoyed crocheting ever since. I am not so technically skilled that I can do more more than the basics, but I am very happy that I can actually do the basics now and have it turn into a usable, finished product.

My very first project I crocheted was a "supposed" to be a pink baby blanket for my cousin Carley when she was born. It turned into a ridiculous looking triangle and I never finished it.

Thankfully over the years I have learned how to make things in to rectangles and for Carley's 12th birthday (which was on Oct 1st) I finally finished her blanket... which I intended to do 12 years ago!

Doctor, Doctor, give me the news....

Okay, looks like I am going to be spending a lot of time meeting with Doctors this month! I have 5 appointments in October (already went to the first today). Maybe it will help me get over my doctor anxiety!?

Don't worry, these are all just appointments that need to happen to decide how we are going to move forward with a few decisions about the delivery.

We do get to find out the gender this month, and I really hope we find out sooner than later. But I am just going to try and stay calm and patient.
