Her version of crawling

She's been army crawling for a month and a half now but she is finally getting a bit faster. I can't imagine her crawling on her hands and knees, that seems a bit too foreign.

She Rolls!!

Ava first rolled over last Friday from belly to back! She had partially rolled over from back to belly a few times but was always getting stuck on her arm. But on Friday she rolled and made it look so easy! Then she didn't do it again so I assumed it was an accident. Well today she rolled over 2 more times within 1 minute! Go Ava!!! She hates hates hates being on her belly so she doesn't spend much time in "tummy time" so this was a big achievement! (please forgive the fact that we are watching a baby story in the background and someone is delivering their baby on the tv right at this moment hahaha)

I looked over at Lonna on Sunday while she was playing with Jaxon during church and then looked in front of her and saw Christina sitting there with Shawn in his car seat and thought "when the heck did we become moms!" Seems like yesterday we were in high school chasing boys haha funny thing is Lonna and Christina married the boys they were chasing after! :)

Anyway, I love getting together with these 2 momma's. Its hard to believe that at one point we were all pregnant at the same time with these babies! But lo and behold we have made it and these cuties are here. It was really fun to go throughout the entire pregnancy with Christina. She was due exactly 3 weeks after me (well 4 weeks after my c-section date). Turns out she had Shawn a week and a half early so Ava and Shawn are only 2 1/2 weeks apart!

So here's the break down:
Jaxon is just over 7 1/2 months and 23 pounds
Ava is 1 1/2 months and probably 13 pounds
Shawn is almost 1 month and (my guess b/c his dr apt is Monday) 10 pounds

Ultrasound Pictures

We had another ultrasound today, I know it may seem like we have already gotten 1 million of these but my pregnancy is labeled high risk. Thankfully, though, nothing has been out of the ordinary, they just watch us extra extra close.

She is growing great and weighs 3 pounds now! She has turned since our last ultrasound 4 weeks ago... She was nearly head down at 25 1/2 weeks... now she is completely Frank Breech with her butt on bottom and her head and feet straight up. They said she has time to turn again so we will see if she turns back head down by our next ultrasound next month.

We got to do more 3d shots of her, although because of her position now it was harder to get a good face shot, she did however stick her tough out at us during the video!

Still a girl :)

If you know me, you know I worry and have nightmares about a million things. My mom told the Ultrasound tech about one of my nightmares and I guess the thing I was dreaming about actually has a medical name!? but she doesn't have it, which is a good thing. I was happy the 20 week ultrasound went well!
This week I was also concerned that she wasn't actually a girl and they just didn't see her boy parts last time. If they had told me she was a boy today that would have been fine but she is still a girl. Most importantly she is healthy and measuring great! They gave me some really really short snip its of her. I wish they were longer than 2 seconds a piece but I will take whatever I can get right now!
The first one, I think she is shaking her booty but it also looks like she is running up my insides..... second one she is taking a gulp or doing something, but she is moving around in there!
